Hi, first I would like to thank all those who upload and encode xvid asd shows.
The small problem I have is this: the playback skips several seconds and this happens at least once during an episode.
Just wondering if people around here also get this problem.
I use 8x write speed to burn the dvds.

I never heard about that problem in here.
Can you test it on some oder player at store or neighbor, friend?

Yes I will try it on another player.
I don't get any skips with mpg files though.

It plays flawlessly on another player.
So it looks like mine is not powerful enough.

My advice - use as slow burning speed as you can and all should be ok.

I don't think it's the write speed because I got the same problem from a pendrive.
I just need a newer dvd player.
