A former insurance investigator assembles a team of thieves and con artists to act as modern-day Robin Hoods.
This episode introduces us to Nate Ford, an insurance investigator who once worked for a company called I.Y.S. and was an expert in recovering stolen items. When the company refuses to pay for his son Sam's "experimental" treatment, Sam dies. Nate's life goes on the skids, but he is eventually hired by Victor Dubenich to keep a group of thieves in check. Nate leads this group in an attempt to right injustices, funded by their unique philosophy on an "alternate revenue stream".
